Any individual over 18 who can document that he/she is a resident of Woodford County (e.g. a Driver's License, a bill, or a piece of mail) is entitled to a free library card.
Any individual under 18 who lives within Woodford County and has the signed consent of a parent or guardian is entitled to a free library card.
Any individual over 18 who presents a valid card from a surrounding county library (e.g. Anderson, Franklin, Scott, Fayette, Jessamine, or Mercer) is entitled to a free library card.
Any individual under 18 who presents a valid card from a surrounding county library and has the signed consent of a parent of guardian is entitled for a free library card.
All others not meeting the requirements outlined above can obtain a library card (good for one year) for $10.
All newly issued library cards will be mailed to the individual applying for the card. Until the card is received in the mail, the individual can only check-out three (3) items.
The Library is no longer charging fees for late items.
